Almond cooca Szelet King Stephan’s

Our darker double-baked almond cocoa cookies

Stephan, heir to the Hungarian throne, was baptized in 985 A.D. In 997 A.D., he married Gisela, daughter of the Duke of Bavaria. Gisela and Stephan’s marriage tied Hungary to the western church, and with his coronation in 1000 A.D., Stephan I. of Hungary solidified the Christianization of their kingdom. The couple founded the national church of Hungary and reorganized the political structure of their kingdom. Stephan I. died in 1038 A.D. and was canonized in the same year.
